    Full Fright
My wife and I booked a flight with Expedia from O'Hare International Airport to Cancun Mexico on 8/11/14 for an 8 am flight. The flight was a Funjet flight operated by Frontier Airlines. We arrived at ORD at 630am as per our itinerary's directions. When we got to the ticket counter at 650, we were told that we wouldn't be able to check in due to our late arrival and because the counters were closed. We didn't have any carry on luggage and we attempted to check in the night before but were unable to complete the process. A Frontier Airlines ticket representative told my wife and I that we needed to be at the airport by 5am, 3 hours before our flight and since it was 650 am we were too late. We were shocked and dumb founded. The plane left at 750 am without my wife, I and 3 other families. If Expedia had of relayed the 3 hour prior to arrival situation we would have been there as stipulated but no where on our flight materials was this stated. We called Expedia and were placed on hold for 2.5 hours and told that we would be charged 250.00 additional dollars to make a flight for the following day. We them attempted to get a refund and we were told no and hung up on by Expedia customer service. When we called back and waited for another 2 hours, the Expedia customer service representative wouldn't give us his name nor would he provide us a phone number to the Expedia cooperate offices. The Expedia phone representative transferred us to a Supervisor we were told and we waited on the line until someone from Expedia hung up on us. We them spent the next 3.5 hours calling Frontier, Funjet and Expedia who couldn't give us and additional info except to tell us that our money was lost and play a shell game with the blame by referring us to contact Expedia, Funjet, Frontier and Apple vacations.(For some reason.) We spent over 1600.00 dollars on this 4 day vacation to end up at home. All companies involved told us the same thing, "It is common knowledge to arrive 3 hours before the flight and doesn't require disclosure." We are extremely dissatisfied and cheated. Needless to say we didn't make it to Cancun and my wife's birthday is ruined. We frequently travel and have been to Mexico several times in the past and we have never had such deplorable treatment until we used Frontier, Funjet and Expedia. We will never use them again and I suggest you do the same.
Frontier Failures
 The worst airline I've flown.

...we were short a stewardess for our flight and we had to wait for them to arrive from another city...Completely unacceptable.

Depending on which rules they choose to enforce, you can never be assured that you will be granted access to their boarding process.

I have never had a more infuriating, more frustrating, or more demoralizing experience traveling in my life!

Never again. Rude stewardesses, ignorant pilots, and nothing's free. The price isn't cheap enough for this.
