• FEATURED FLIGHT FRIGHT
posted delay and then re-instated flight
    Summary
We got left by our flight because they posted a delay in our flight but later re-instated it but we "didn't hear the announcement" at the restaurant. They were not willing to help. We were so glad that we went directly to United to have our flight rebooked!
    Full Fright
4:50pm flight to Seattle from Denver was marked delayed until 6:45pm the several times we checked the boards after arriving at the Denver airport at 2:45 p.m. With 2 hours to kill, we decided to have dinner. Frontier in the meantime apparently found an airplane to be able to leave nearer the original time and actually left at 5:30. When inquiring at the Frontier "customer service" counter when we arrived at our gate at 5:40, they were unapologetic and said announcements were made through the terminal but are not heard in the restaurants. We were told it was solely our fault we missed the flight. In the hundreds of thousands of miles my husband has flown over the past 30 years, this is a first. Not just the posted delay and then the re-instated flight, but the outright rudeness of each of the customer service agents at the Denver Frontier customer service desk and their manager out at the Frontier terminal. In fact, at one point, my husband was told that because he had obtained a "discounted ticket through a travel agent" they would be "absolutely unable to help in any way". We were told our only hope was to try standby on the next flight which was full. They refused to check other airlines for seats for us. Later we ran into another 4:50 passengers that also had missed the flight for the same reason. Miraculously, Frontier HAD reserved seats with the 10pm. United flight and provided them meal vouchers. Ouch! We decided to go directly to United and are so thankful we did. The United agent was wonderful, coordinating the transfer of our Frontier tickets for their 10pm flight, no added fees. He was efficient, kind and helpful. Which was all we were hoping for from Frontier. The best part is that instead of having to purchase tickets on another airlines to get home, which is what we were told by Frontier would be our only option and then having 1 year to use our unsed Frontier tickets, we are free of the Frontier folks for good! Those who reviewed speaking of wonderful customer service, clearly have not had the misfortune of dealing with the Denver folks we encountered.

Wally

 The worst airline I've flown.

Meg

This airline is an absolute joke, they nickel and dime you for everything, there is no customer service, and apparently the idea of a flight going as planned is impossible. With the arrival of United and Delta to our area never again will I fly with Frontier

pissed_passenger

Worst Airline. Flights always delayed. Poor customer service. Delayed over 3 hours in Denver. I would never fly this Airline. Service has gone down hill over the past few years.

"I detect an accent. Do you understand English?" - Frontier staff... This is clearly discrimination!!
