Ground delay on a plane full of angry bikers
    Summary
Gate wasn't open upon arrival and I was stuck on the tarmac in a plane full of angry bikers and drunk millenials.
    Full Fright
I took a one way Frontier flight from Denver to Miami a couple weeks ago to help my girlfriend drive back to Denver with her belongings so we could start our new life together. I can say now that everything is going wonderfully, but it had an inauspicious start to say the least.

It became apparent at the beginning of this flight that we had a pretty unusual passenger list, at least half of the passengers were clearly members of a motorcycle club. I could tell by the copious amount..

Flew round trip from Ft Myers to Denver 12/12. Flight out was no problem. Return flight - flight listed as on time on the screens, but we boarded over 30 minutes late. No announcement made that explained when we would be boarding, the reason for the delay, or any kind of apology or assurance. Asked to check our carryon bags at the gate, which was not a problem except that my companion was not given the receipt from her bag check. The agent said she would be right back with the tag, never returne..

    My 2 crying year old
    Summary
They placed my 2 year old away from me. And talked about us to other passengers.
    Full Fright
Flew from SLC to Denver then to Puerto Vallarta. First flew with small children all separated from parents when asked to change seats was told by a very rude stewardess that we had to stay in assigned seats. What person flying wants to sit next to someone else's crying two year old? Then the stewardess had the nerve to talk to other passengers about us, very unprofessional. Pay the extra fly Delta.

    ridiculous bin policy
    Summary
I really don't understand why we cannot use the first three bins even if you are seated in the front three rows.
    Full Fright
Each time, if you are in the front three rows, the crew restrict usage of the overhead in preference to the people not already boarded. This usually means that we end up putting their bag further down the plane and the first three bins usually end up not full, and people boarding further back of the plane end up using the bins. It is illogical and rude to the passengers already boarded. Now we have to wait to go down the plane to get our bags. It makes now sense. Frontier, you have lost me with ..

    Pushed me to the edge!
    Summary
In over 30 years of flying, I have never encountered such rude and inhumane service and after reading the reviews it is of NO surprise my first complaint was not responded to or the fact the FA aggressively and physically approached me as I left the plane - it would appear from the HUNDREDS of similar complaints this behavior is not only ignored but encouraged.

My first flight left Fort Lauderdale for Trenton NJ/Mercer County. This airline just started flying there and it's convenient for neighboring Bucks County residents who prefer this short ride over the congestion and busy airport in Philly. Take the drive - it's not worth the inhumane treatment you will endure on this airline. The flight was delayed and then we sat on the runway for 30 min. Almost an hour after take off with ZERO turbulence, the seat belt sign was still on and many people were..

We used over 100k miles to fly my husband and me (plus our toddler under 2) on a last minute flight from Denver to San Diego for an immediate family member's funeral. We arrived at the airport and were told the flight had been downgraded and our seats could not be assigned and we needed to talk to the agent at the gate. We got to the gate and were told to wait off to the side. We waited off to the side, as requested, and tried not to be one of those passengers that got heated and be patient unti..

Address your problems Frontier and you have to realize that there are a lot!
    Summary
I flew yesterday from Trenton to Ft. Lauderdale. Was very excited to be flying from Trenton - much more convenient than going to Newark or Philadelphia. Check in was fine - security easy and waiting area adequate. The problem came when the flight was delayed for 9 hours - yes 9 hours.
    Full Fright
I spent the entire day and evening at the airport. the problem is two-fold - why I am not likely to fly Frontier again: 1) The communication throughout the ordeal was worse than awful - it is pretty clear that they knew early on that this was going to be a horrific wait. They kept stringing us along - many of us could have gone home for the day, but instead we were there not knowing what was going on. 2) Second issue - staff are incredibly rude. Staff upstairs at check in were great, but those i..

    Summary
I am so frustrated with Frontier's new policies to charge you extra for everything: seat assignment, carry-on bag, checked bag, coffee on the flight, etc.

I'm sure they will be charging for seat belts soon. Frontier used to be my favorite airline, but now I avoid them at all costs. I am happy to pay a little extra (or not in many cases) to fly Southwest Airlines where they still let you check a bag for free and carry on a bag with your personal item. If Southwest isn't available, I look for anything other than Frontier now. My baggage was booked, I was not!
    Summary
I've been a satisfied Frontier customer for about 10 years, tapering off my patronage after they dropped Boise and my family member moved from there. In all that time, pleasant flight crews and no lost baggage. However, I sense there's been a paradigm shift in the way Frontier treats its customers, and what I experienced and observed yesterday is consistent with so many complaints about this airline.

My booking included 2 passengers, rt ATL-SEA, partially paid for with ER miles. That's actually what prompted the trip use or lose notice for my ER miles. I paid for stretch seating an additional $30/apiece on each flight, or $120. The ATL-SEA piece was without incident. Upon return, I was able to log on and check in my fellow passenger, a grandson, but not myself. The notice said something about getting to the airport 3 hours in advance. Summary
I flew Frontier for the first and last time this past week. I had a business trip and this was the most cost effective airline for me. Then I found a few - no, a lot of negatives.
    Full Fright
First, my luggage is a rolling carry on that is the appropriate size and fits in any other airline. Frontier forces you to stick it in a sized up box at the counter to be approved to get the carry on onto the flight, and that is for each connecting flight. It's difficult to fit in and I noticed a few people who were charged $50 per bag to have it checked because it did not fit. I lucked out, but had to go through the ordeal all over again at my connecting flight in Denver and was told my bag wou..

DTW-TTN-DTW. Outbound flight was delayed by weather, 4+ hours. Not Frontier's fault, but once onboard, we were charged $1.99 for lukewarm coffee: is it expecting too much to get freebies after such a long delay? Apparently so. But my main gripe is their carry-on policy. It appears, based on our experience both ways, that after a certain number of passengers have boarded, they simply assume the overheads are full and require people to pay extra to check their carry-ons. This happened to us, and w..

    not wheelchair friendly
    Summary
If you are arriving on any Frontier flight at Denver Int'l Airport in a wheelchair--be prepared for incredibly poor customer service.Their protocol is to wheel you 25 feet to a bench, where you need to wait for an electric cart to take you to security.
    Full Fright
(That wait is anywhere from 15-3o minutes, as most carts are full when they pass by). At security you are literally thrown off the cart and you have to walk 100 feet to another bench. You wait there for another 15 minutes for another wheelchair to "dump" you at baggage. I think Frontier has decided that they are not interested in serving this population and poor service will discourage repeat wheelchair consumers.Mission accomplished Frontier.
