    I am a college student, so traveling home can always be a bit difficult because of cost, time to get back, the amount of luggage I can travel with, etc. I decided to go with Frontier Airlines because it was the cheapest flight that I could find going home, without having to pay any extra baggage fees.

    I checked in online 24 hours before, and got to the airport with plenty of time to catch my flight. The first plane that I took was already running 30 minutes late. The plane had come in, they were just taking FOREVER to deboard. we did not leave on time. When I got off of that flight and went to the connecting flight, it was already delayed an hour and a half. The "expected landing time" would only be accurate in a parallel universe where they could unload and load passengers in 20 minuets. But in fact, boarding was a complicated mess.     The seats are dirty and really old.. the brochures were torn with food dried on them.. no complimentary drink or snack.. The bathrooms were dirty and still have ashtrays in them! Really??? Smoking has been banned from airplanes for 25+ years.. Do they ALWAYS go the cheapest route??? Southwest is even better and usually cheaper! It makes me wonder what else they scrimp on. Makes me wonder how safe they actually are.. I've read recently they filed Bankruptcy.

    I've been a frequent Frontier flyer but there have been a lot of changes now. First, food is not that good anymore. They took away most of my "favorite". Disappointing but livable. Carry-ons will probably start to get charged for next - the gate keepers make sure that you have two items and two items only now.     I have flown primarily Frontier Airlines for several years now. Their ticket prices are the cheapest in regards to where I am flying and had a few perks I looked forward to. The ticket prices are still the cheapest, but since they merged with Midwest Airlines, the quality and perks have disappeared.     My daughter was left stranded in Denver when they missed their connecting flight because of the delay in departure of their flight from Indianapolis. I had to travel 3 hours to pick them up. When we got home, the original airline called and said the bags were there while I was at LAX picking them up. this means that they held the plane for the bags but not the passengers! I called CS but it seems there is no CS that would answer!

My daughter and her 6 year old autistic child were left stranded in Denver after a flight departure delay in Indianapolis made them miss their flight even though they were promised the connection would be held.     I think there's a reason no one has ever heard of them. Our flight from South Bend, IN (SBN) to Phoenix (PHX) went off without a hitch. However, on our way back, our flight was canceled from PHX to Denver (DEN) because of bad weather. I do realize this was not Frontier's fault. But, Frontier didn't have another plane flying from PHX to DEN for TWO DAYS. Also, since the cancellation was "weather-related," they refused to pay for a hotel. Were we just supposed to sit in the airport for two days?..

    This airplane is so filthy and disgusting. I've had to endure a disgusting smell of unknown origin coming from the seat pocket. Then I discover stickiness. Flight attendants seem friendly enough. At least I finally got a beverage right before we landed. Free cookie was good. But the smell. Won't be flying with them again.

    I used a third party to book the tickets. This is what I've done for the last 20 years with no extra fees from any other airline. Booking through a third party is the excuse they use for charging you all these extra fees.     I understand airlines run late sometimes and air passengers can be difficult to accommodate, but Frontier does the worst job of all of the airlines. On a recent trip all my flights were late and they boarded our plane with vomit still in the seat pocket- it was disgusting!!! When I notified Frontier about the level of service they didn't even bother to respond. I will not be flying with Frontier airlines again and suggest you find another airline.
