    I filed an official complaint with Frontier concerning my one and only trip with them which, two weeks out, they still haven't replied to. So here's my complaint letter that I sent to them so maybe I can save another person the frustration of dealing with these people.

    On Monday July 7th, we had our outbound flight 625 from Detroit to Denver delayed due to mechanical problems and ended up being at 4 airports for over 24 hours straight because of missed connecting flights.     My husband purchased a ticket from Frontier for our daughter to fly from Nashville, TN to Denver, CO to travel on May 24, 2014. Our daughter was in line to check her and baggage (fees already paid) 1 hour and 15 min prior to departure. But she still went through all the trouble and didn't get her baggage on time.

    This flight actually left early. 15 passenger were rebooked to other flights at 8am and 8pm the next day (some on standby for already overbooked flights) We spent the night on thefloor of the airport because the voucher for the discounted hotel would only be helpful IF there were shuttles running to get us there.     I was not able to print my boarding passes the night before, the system told me to “see an attendant”, as did the Kiosk in the airport but there was a HUGE line at the ticketing agent.     My daughter was left stranded in Denver when they missed their connecting flight because of the delay in departure of their flight from Indianapolis. I had to travel 3 hours to pick them up. When we got home, the original airline called and said the bags were there while I was at LAX picking them up. this means that they held the plane for the bags but not the passengers!     Absolute worst operational airline in the nation. If they had negative stars Frontier would have earned it. My daughter and her 6 year old autistic child were left stranded in Denver after a flight departure delay in Indianapolis made them miss their flight even though they were promised the connection would be held.     Things do get to a point where quality trumps cost.

    There are a lot of things that makes me want to fly in another airline. Frontier doesn't honor reserved seats booked from a third party, they put us on opposite ends of the plane. Our luggage got to another destination because of the wrong tag. Everything had extra cost. And they don't have enough water for everyone.

    I think this airline is the current winner in the race to the bottom of US airline carriers. We booked this flight as part of a round trip on Travelocity. The first leg was on another airline that we frequently use, and was great, as always. Had only flew Frontier once before.
