    Frontier Airlines caused us to miss our connecting flight and refused to do anything about it. They didn't even offer us an apology.

    Arranged a round-trip flight from Chicago to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We arrived back to Chicago at 6:00 and had a connecting flight to make at 9:00 through Spirit. We were unable to deboard the plane until 7:20 due to an unspecified problem at the gate. They moved the plane to a different gate and we ran through the first customs to get our checked bags. Somehow there was an  issue with Frontier's luggage crew and they couldn't get anyone's luggag..

    Attendant took our itinerary, asked us to measure our two bags. They were fit the smaller frame which was 18 x 14 x 8. But she insisted on that we need to have them checked-in. Even though there were other Frontier flights leaving between the original departure time and the new departure time, staff refused to accommodate any customers in any way. They would not put us on standby. They refuse to help us with a new flight.

I don't mind some product differentiation in which they charge extra for "extras", but it is completely ridiculous that they intentionally won't allow people traveling together to sit together without paying an extra fee. No free luggage at all - the first piece checked in costs $25. If you have a carry, it costs even more - $35.
